Beverly Hills and West Hollywood have older estates, renovated homes, condos and high-end commercial space. Many of these properties are already finished to a high standard, which means a low-voltage install has to work with what is there instead of tearing into it.
We plan cable paths before we start, use hidden routes where they exist, and tell you honestly where a run will be visible. We install UniFi because it is dependable and manageable, and you own it all with no monthly fees.
Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, flats to hills
Beverly Hills has two different halves. The flats, south of Sunset Boulevard, have older Spanish Revival and Tudor-style houses with plaster walls and finished interiors. North of Sunset Boulevard, streets like Benedict Canyon and Coldwater Canyon, and the Trousdale Estates area, climb into the hills with houses built into the slopes.
Wilshire Boulevard is lined with condo buildings and offices, and the retail streets around Rodeo Drive and Beverly Drive have shop suites where the landlord decides what can go on the building. For condos and shops, a call to the property manager usually comes before anything else.
West Hollywood is dense. Courtyard apartment buildings from the 1920s through the 1960s sit next to newer mid-rise buildings along Santa Monica Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard, and Melrose Avenue and the Sunset Strip are full of restaurants and shops. A large share of residents rent, so approval from the owner or the HOA is usually the first step.
What we plan for in Beverly Hills
Plaster, stone and finished walls
Older homes often have plaster over lath, stone and tile that are difficult to open. We look for existing pathways, like closets, attics and chases, and we propose recessed or ceiling-mounted devices that disappear into the room.
Renovations and new builds
If a wall is open, that is the time to run cable. We coordinate with your contractor and designer, give them a plan for pre-wire, and install devices once the finishes are done.
Privacy and discretion
Cameras and Wi-Fi are set up so you control who sees what. Footage stays on your own recorder, and access can be limited by person. We keep project details private.
Condos, offices and retail
Buildings along Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards have building rules and shared risers. We coordinate access, and design the suite network and door control within those limits.

Recessed ceiling access points, CAT6A routed through the attic and closets, and cameras at the entry and driveway that suit the architecture. We show you every visible device before we install it.
A condo on Wilshire Boulevard
A quiet UniFi gateway, switch and access point inside the unit. With board approval, a camera at your own door. Common hallways are left alone unless the building asks us in.
A restaurant or shop on Melrose Avenue or Santa Monica Boulevard
A guest network kept apart from the point-of-sale devices, cameras on the front door and the back entrance, and a reader on the staff door.
