Gbit Tech LLC designs, installs and services Ubiquiti UniFi networks for commercial properties and high-end homes across the Los Angeles Metro area. We use CAT6A cabling on new data and access point runs, label everything, and leave an install that is easy to expand.
What we support
For commercial clients, such as multi-tenant office buildings, hotels, production studios and warehouses, we design networks that are built to grow.
For homes, particularly in neighborhoods like Beverly Hills and Malibu, we do whole-home WiFi with UniFi Protect for cameras and UniFi Access for door control.
Our services include:
- Network design and consultation
- Installation of UniFi access points, switches and gateways
- UniFi Protect cameras and UniFi Access control
- Troubleshooting and service on request
- Upgrades and expansion planning

How we build
- CAT6 for cameras, and CAT6A for data drops and Wi-Fi access points on new runs
- VLANs to separate traffic for security and easier management
- UniFi PoE switches to power access points and cameras
- UniFi Protect set up with central management
- Labeled cables and ports, so upgrades and troubleshooting are quick

Installation
Good installation matters more than the hardware. We route and label every cable, use solid-copper CAT6 for cameras and CAT6A for data drops and access points, and place access points to cover the space without dead zones. We tie UniFi Protect and UniFi Access into the existing network, then test and document the install before we leave.
By type of property
- Multi-tenant offices: VLANs keep each tenant’s traffic separate, with WiFi coverage sized to the space.
- Restaurants, bars and clubs: Access point placement and bandwidth planning for crowded rooms.
- Hotels and venues: UniFi Protect for cameras and UniFi Access for controlled entry.
- Production studios: Wired and wireless networks for streaming and large media files.
- Warehouses and manufacturing: Wireless coverage across large spaces for scanners, IoT devices and inventory systems.
Support
Support upon request. Custom service plans tailored to each setup are available. Common requests are firmware updates, troubleshooting network outages and performance problems, and upgrade recommendations as your needs change.
