Upgraded an outdated analog security system in a 38-story Downtown Los Angeles office tower to modern UniFi Protect without pulling new cable. Reused decades-old RG-59 coax with reliable Dahua converters for 39 cameras; solved extreme-distance elevator runs by installing midpoint PoE switches.
Result: 4K AI-powered surveillance across all floors and elevators cost-effective, minimal disruption, zero subscriptions.
Integrated a full UniFi ecosystem during a major two-story luxury home renovation and addition in Greater Los Angeles. Rough-in phase included CAT6 data drops, UniFi Protect camera runs, U7 Pro WiFi access points, and dual multi-mode fiber links all routed cleanly while walls were open.
Result: seamless multi-gigabit network, blanket WiFi 7 coverage, and 4K surveillance perfectly embedded in the renovated design.
